The George Farnham Gallery
Meet George Farnham
In November 2014, after 30 years of London living and successful careers in education and the City, Gary and Michael bought a “weekend getaway” in Suffolk. By the Spring of 2015, they had both taken early retirement, decided to spend more time away from London … and acquired a Cocker Spaniel puppy, George.
Having settled into Suffolk life, they decided to develop a twenty year interest in buying and collecting art, by opening a small art gallery in Saxmundham, the town nearest to their Suffolk home. Thus, The George Farnham Gallery, opened its doors in November 2016. The Gallery specialises in affordable work by living artists, both professional and amateur – paintings, prints, ceramics, glass et al. Please follow the links to find more about the artists currently exhibiting, our previous exhibitions and to view a selection of current stock in our online store. If you would like to be kept updated on events and exhibitions in 2020, please join our mailing list. We look forward to meeting you when you visit the Gallery.

Featuring artworks by Stephen Watkins
Stephen Watkin’s striking images are very much a nod to the old style of drawing that architects used to use, only with brushes instead of pens. This exhibition runs until the 10th October 2020.
