Terms and Conditions, Shipping & Returns

 

Shipping Information:

It can take up to 3 working days before your order is posted. If you need your order by a specific date please let us know. We do not make a profit on postage costs; we simply charge you what it costs to send the work to you. We aim to use as much recycled material as possible in our packaging. 

If you are not in to take delivery of your parcel, it is your responsibility to arrange a redelivery with the postal service used. If you do not arrange a redelivery or collect the parcel from the depot, and it is returned to The George Farnham Gallery, then we will have to charge you again to post it back to you. 

UK orders:

Orders are sent with Royal Mail first class and will take 3 – 7 working days to arrive once it has been sent. In rare cases it can take a bit longer, especially during busy times of year. If your order hasn’t arrived within 10 days please get in touch. 

Packaging & Breakages:

We wrap each item very carefully. Any ceramic or glass items are wrapped in bubble wrap as well as any additional packaging such as polystyrene, board or reinforced cardboard. We endeavour to reuse and recycle packaging materials wherever possible.

In the unlikely event that your order does arrive damaged or has a fault, please email us at contact@thegeorgefarnhamgallery.uk immediately, so that we can arrange to get the item returned, and arrange either an exchange or full refund. Please do not throw the item away. Keep it in its packaging and inform us of the problem within 7 days of receiving the goods, otherwise we cannot be held responsible for damage that has occurred. 

How to buy:

Please visit our online shop, phone us on 01728 603308, or send us an email to contact@thegeorgefarnhamgallery.uk to request images and prices of a particular artist’s work. We are more than happy to send you information and images of work that is available in the gallery. We can email you an invoice, and upon receipt of payment, post the item out to you. We are also able to take your payment over the phone. .

We are open 10:30am – 4pm Tuesday to Friday and 9:30am – 1pm on Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays, Mondays and Bank Holidays. 

Reserving an item: you can reserve a piece of artwork by giving us a ring on 01728 603308, or email us at contact@thegeorgefarnhamgallery.uk and paying a deposit of 50% and we will be happy to hold the item until you’re ready to collect it in person. We will hold your reserved item for 5 days. Any longer, please call the Gallery to make additional arrangements.

Commissions: we are in regular contact with all the artists whose work that we display in the gallery and can contact them on your behalf for information about commissions and special orders.
